Tech After School is a program designed by the GS Tech Council to build a technically skilled workforce for the future demand of our local tech sector.

The GS Tech Council is providing industry standard software and equipment to schools in Horry and Georgetown County, and challenging them to complete a series of projects using the resources.  By providing professional mentors, and an opportunity to compete locally and nationally – we hope to add a level of excitement that tech education in this area has never seen before!

This program encourages 5 pillar strengths:

  1. Competitiveness

  2. Collaboration

  3. Creativity

  4. Problem Solving

  5. Decision Making
